UKFinnovator brings together students from across the UK to work on exciting FinTech problems set by leading companies. Previously, these have included: Allsee Technologies, Unique Tech Solutions, Bettr Social, Solana SuperteamUK, GFA Exchange and NoCodeLab.ai.

Application Process – Join as a Team or Individually

Although we are only accepting individual applications, we have included a box in the application form for you to let us know if you have a team in mind beforehand. You will need to decide on a team name with your desired members before applying and include it in your application. 

Should you and any other team members be accepted, we will ensure you participate as part of the same team. Please note, this does not guarantee that all your team members will be accepted into UKFinnovator. Teams should be a maximum of 6 members. 

If applying as an individual with no prior team in mind, we will once again be giving a chance for students to find team members before the event via our Discord server. Please don’t fret if you do not manage to find a team here; we will allocate all remaining students in teams prior to the event. We aim to create teams as diverse as possible, to ensure each team has broad set of skills to take on the challenges.

This event needs EVERY type of student

Whether you are Technical (AI, software, data, cyber, engineering), Non-technical (business, design, law, social sciences, education, policy, arts), or somewhere in between – your skills play a vital role. Every team needs coders, strategists, analysts, designers, storytellers, researchers, and problem-solvers. Your perspective may be the key to a project’s success.
