2026 marks the fourth full year of the UKFin+ Network, funded as a 5-year EPSRC/UKRI project. Our network continues to grow as a national platform that connects academia, industry, regulators, and charities to tackle wicked problems in financial services. UKFin+ is now entering its final year of funding and the focus will move from funding projects to maximising the impact of the network and its funded projects.
This Year We:
- Funded 14 new projects, totalling 35 across the length of the project.
- Hosted a sandpit in collaboration witn incuto
- Supported follow-on impact from research with 3 completed projects progressing to Impact funding
- Launched the UKFinnovator series of hackathon for hundreds of students
- Strengthened sustainable finance collaboration through a major event delivered with BISCA and IDAI
- Completed the RegTech Resilience and Compliance spotlight
- Expanded UKFin+’s national presence, representing the network at 23 events
- Launched the Research Mapping Tool
